By popular request join me for a 6-hour online virtual modern quilt workshop where I'll walk you through how to piece the Modern Aztec blocks with streamed videos. I also share lots of tips and tricks for ultimate quilty success. This is a great workshop if you're new to quilting and want to get some insight on how to piece your quilt blocks.
The Modern Aztec quilt is so fun to stitch up, plus you get to explore either a 5-color or 10-colorway option! Cue the quilty good times!
What You'll Learn:
You'll learn how to piece half square triangles using the 8-at-a-time no waste method.
Skill Level:
This class is suitable for beginners (as long as you have basic sewing knowledge) and experienced quilters alike.
Timing:
The virtual workshop will occur on Saturday November 13, 2021 from 10am to 4pm EST, with a 30 minute break for lunch.
Workshop Location:
This is a virtual workshop that will occur over Zoom. I will send you a personalized link to join a few days before the workshop.
Required supplies:
- Modern Aztec quilt pattern (included in workshop fee and will be emailed to you after purchase)
- sewing machine, thread, iron, ironing board
- rotary cutter
- cutting mat
- rotating cutting mat (optional)
- 24" ruler
- 6" x 12" ruler
- pins
- Washable marking tool
- paper and pencil for notes
- Fabric (full fabric requirements in the pattern)
